My name is Bobby Logan and, well, I'm a fairly well-known comedy guy. For the last 40+ years I've written comedy for the top comics on the planet. More on that in the next section. Today I am still very active producing comedy movies and TV shows.
Recently, my wife and I decided we had had enough of 'Hollywood' so we moved to a new home in Winchester (near Temecula). And me? Well, I decided it's time for me to GIVE BACK to the next generation of up & coming stand-up comics! So, I've started the '4-Week Stand-up Comedy School' just for you! A multifaceted, intensive course that will impart all aspects of my experience in the stand-up comedy business to you, the men and women who have that comedy itch!

In the world of stand-up comedy, I earned the nickname 'Kid Comedy' because of my ability to write for a wide variety of comics, including Joan Rivers, Rodney Dangerfield, Garry Shandling and Sam Kinison. This doesn't include the dozens of other well-known comedians, executives and politicians for whom I have written comedy material.

I started out in the comedy movie business by 'ghost writing' several hit movies. I went on to write and direct five feature films such as the cult exorcist spoof 'Repossessed' starring Leslie 'Naked Gun' Nielsen, Ned Beatty and Linda Blair -- and HBO's 'Meatballs 4' starring Corey Feldman upon others. I'm currently in pre-production on two feature documentaries.

What Will I Learn in This Course?
The course will be crammed-full of useful information on the planning and execution of your stand-up comedy career. Each week the class will explore, in-depth, the following subjects:
1. Developing your stage character. 2. Writing of Comedy Material for your character. 3. The art of presentation to a live audience. 4. Dealing with the 'business side' of the stand-up comedy field.
How Does the 4-Week Course End?
The course will conclude with each student, having taken in all of the info they've received in class, putting together a 5 minute comedy routine which they will perform in front of me and your fellow students. Supportive comments and criticism will follow to help fine-tune the student's work.
Where is the Course Held?
The course is held in my comfortable home in Winchester. My students will sit in my living room, featuring an 86" television on which I will feature video clips to enhance and detail my lessons. Each student is allowed to bring light snacks and/or drinks to class, as the environment will be fun, creative and light.
How Many Students Are in Each Class?
I will only seat a maximum of 5 students per course. This is so each student will have plenty of time to work personally with me and not feel rushed or hurried.
What Does the Course Cost?
The 4-week course is just $299.00 per student. Believe me, this is a VERY LOW COST compared to what you will learn and experience from one of the top stand-up comedy writers. No brag, just fact. Payment is by Venmo, Zelle, cash or check. Full payment must be received before your first class.
